Animal Rescue Fair 2010
and Pet Adoptions!
PHOTOS FROM ARF2010
Thanks to everyone who came out on Sunday!
JOIN US... for the 10th Annual Animal Rescue Fair and Pet Adoptions (ARF). On Sunday June 13, 2010, the event will be
held at the covered arena at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta, Georgia.
ARF has grown to over 4000 attendees, and is the largest pet adoption and educational
family fun day in Georgia. Attendees, rescue groups and vendors come from the
southeastern United States including Florida, North and South Carolina,
Tennessee and Alabama not to mention the entire State of Georgia. People stay and
spend time learning about the animals, their needs, available pet products and
services in the community. With the Atlanta metro area having one of
the highest kill rates for pets in shelters, we hope to be able to reach more
people, secure more adoptions and spread the word about animals available for
adoption reducing the number of animals killed in shelters.
Sunday June 13, 2010, 12-noon to 5 pm
Karen Handel, leading GOP contender for the office of Governor of Georgia,
will make an appearance too!
It's also about information on animals, vendors, education and entertainment.
FREE PARKING
Admission is Free, but a donation of a bag of pet food (Purina preferred dog, cat,
horse) for Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen and Fido's Soup Kitchen who provides pet food and supplies to those in need during these
difficult economic times. Our goal is to help families keep
their pets rather than give them away or take them to animal control because of lack
of food. We believe the best place for the pet is with its family and the best thing
for the family is to keep their faithful companion.
